Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our team. In this role you will report to the Production Supervisor and are required to perform a wide variety of process and maintenance procedures. TWI manufactures polishing pad products which are sold to the semiconductor industry and demand the highest levels of material quality and performance. This role is best suited to a self-motivated and ambitious individual with a high attention to detail.

Duties:

• Execute the daily CNC production schedule
• Perform daily pre-production maintenance tasks and complete associated paperwork
• Quickly identify and escalate equipment, product and material problems or concerns
• Safely operate all CNC production equipment
• Participate in troubleshooting equipment, process, product and material issues as needed
• Perform required quality testing and inspection of materials and product
• Ensure full compliance of all in-process sample collection and testing
• Actively look for ways to optimize processes in CNC area
• Act as point of contact for machinist and engineering for development projects
• Drive operational standards in CNC area
• Willing to work in other areas upon request
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Support rigorous and evolving quality systems in a disciplined manner to meet microelectronic customer expectations and maintain ISO certification
• Be actively involved in driving continuous improvement as an individual contributor or working as part of a team

Requirements:

• Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associate Degree in a technical field preferred
• Must be able to work a 10 hour shift (much of the time standing) and routinely lift ~15 lbs and occasionally up to 30 lbs
• Ability to read and write in the English language
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow specifications and procedures in a precise manner
• Good verbal communication and comfortable working in a cross functional environment
• Ambition to learn and develop new skills
• >5 years experience operating lathes and milling tools, preferably fabricating plastic parts

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
